I would like to thank Wrangler Jeans for supporting me as an Artist with wardrobe for the month of October.
Wrangler has always been very supportive of the Country Music industry and especially its Artists. I am very honored to be included in that support amongst many other fellow prestigious Country Music Artists such as George Strait, Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Tracy Byrd & Craig Morgan, to name a few.
Wrangler jeans have always been one of my favorites not just because they are comfortable and affordable, but also for their unwavering sense of fashion.

Maverick Country Magazine has had some of the top Country performers grace the front cover of their magazine. Rebecca’s whole album “Headlights on the Highway” received a very powerful and positive review stating that:
Ms. Lindsey “has had voice training from the age of ten, so when it comes to deliveries one can find little to carp about.” “In listening to her deliveries of” her songs “it is apparent that she sings from personal experience and is certainly not simply going through the motions.” “It should not be assumed that these songs are merely dark tirades against the abusers involved in cases of domestic violence; far from it. They are very literate songs, which deal openly and honestly with the subject without being ‘preachy’.”

Deborah Williams, the St. Petersburg, FL CASA Domestic Abuse Shelter Director of Development, wrote about Rebecca Lindsey and the luncheon’s sponsor, Mary Shuh: “Wow, what a dynamic duo! Thank you for the wonderful job you did to help raise money for our domestic abuse shelter. More than $70,000 was raised for CASA as a result of your efforts at the Good Night Sleep Lunch.”
“It is great to be able to thank anyone that has sponsored shelters and survivors of domestic violence. I know it can seem frustrating as a sponsor when you do not see the results of your time and money – but if you save one life, you save the world. A sponsor’s time and kindness is never for nothing.”
“If you are related to someone or friends with someone you are almost obligated to have to help them. The people that help the most in these cases generally are strangers – yet they care and help anyway. God bless you the volunteers for your efforts; it really makes all the difference in the world.”
All my love,
Rebecca
Rebecca spoke with individuals like Mayor Rick Baker of St. Petersburg, FL in attendance showing their support to help end domestic violence.
Please, help support your local shelter(s) by calling 1 (800) 799-SAFE (7233) to find a shelter in your area.
Any funds you donate can be a tax write-off as well. The gift of your time as a Volunteer is one of the most precious gifts you could ever give someone.
Thank you for your support and God bless.

I would like to thank Fashion Bug for supporting me as an Artist with wardrobe for the month of March.
Fashion Bug is one of my favorite clothing stores not just for their fashionable and affordable clothesline but also because they support many charities as I do. Whether you’re a size 0 or a size 20+, how a woman views her body plays a large role in many aspects of her life.
Fashion Bug supports women having a healthy body image as well as many charities such as “Keeping Kids Warm” and “Voices“.

On Friday February 26, 2007, Rebecca will be giving away 6 cars to victims of domestic violence in the Harbor House shelter in Orlando through her affiliate, 1800CHARITYCARS. The shelter will also be given a conversion van to help other victims to get to the shelter as well. Fox 35, Channel 6, The Sentinel and other media have been invited to attend the event.
Due to confidentiality for the survivors receiving the cars, the give-away itself could not be televised. However, information about the event was.

Artists who have been added to CMT’s database are currently signed to a major label or have an independent product on the charts, are members of the Grand Ole Opry or Country Music Hall of Fame, have achieved significant chart activity with Billboard, Cashbox, R&R, etc., have won awards with CMA, ACM, TNN/Country Weekly, etc., or have had an impact on the history of country music.
To my dear friends who support me:
“With each step and success I have I owe it all to you, those who support me, because I only represent you and your best wishes. It is those wishes that provide the energy to carry me on. So whatever success or further step I take, it is because of you. The spotlight that shines on me, shines on you at the same time. My applause is also yours. I only achieve the success that your support sends to me. You turn my dreams into our reality for all of us.”
Much Love,
Rebecca

Talk about a hectic day yesterday! Up at 3am, at my guitarist’s Mark’s house by 5am and in Orlando by 7am to be on Fox 35, Orlando Matters then to drive to Tampa to give a benefit ‘unplugged’ concert to help support our troops with 103.5FM. Luckily I was home by midnight ![]()
It was great though because I got to be interviewed live by Fox 35 in order to talk and play “Cowboys Never do it that Way” to help inspire others who may be or have been victims of domestic violence.
On Orlando Matters I was interviewed again more in-depth and also got to perform “While You Were Sleeping” which is endorsed by U-Haul as well as “On the Fourth of July” which has been played on the radio for the last year with my guitarist.
Skip from 103.5 came back stage after handing him my CD and performing for the troops to compliment us on our work as well as ask us our future plans and compliment the graphics design for my debut CD.
If anyone may be interested in contacting my graphics designer for future work, he has given me permission for you to contact him at: GRAPHICDESIGN@LASTSTARENTERTAINMENT.COM.
Any opportunity to inspire and perform for someone truly is a gift and I appreciate all of you who were able to watch.

Wow! Where do I begin? Things have been so hectic around here lately I have not had much time. But, I could never forget about writing to my fans ![]()
![]()
Well… performing at the opening ceremony at the Veteran’s Day Parade with Mayor Bloomberg and the media there for the Big Apple was certainly a great experience. We received three applauds before we were done performing “On the Fourth of July”. ![]()
Afterward my band and I were on the First Lincoln float performing other various songs from my debut album. From what I understand there were around 20,000 participants in this year’s Veteran’s Day Parade. There are no country radio stations in New York City and yet we were well-received, so I am taking this as a great sign.
For more information on the parade please feel free to visit: http://rebeccalindsey.net/news/
