Hectic Day in Orlando

Talk about a hectic day yesterday! Up at 3am, at my guitarist’s Mark’s house by 5am and in Orlando by 7am to be on Fox 35, Orlando Matters then to drive to Tampa to give a benefit ‘unplugged’ concert to help support our troops with 103.5FM. Luckily I was home by midnight :)

It was great though because I got to be interviewed live by Fox 35 in order to talk and play “Cowboys Never do it that Way” to help inspire others who may be or have been victims of domestic violence.

On Orlando Matters I was interviewed again more in-depth and also got to perform “While You Were Sleeping” which is endorsed by U-Haul as well as “On the Fourth of July” which has been played on the radio for the last year with my guitarist.

Skip from 103.5 came back stage after handing him my CD and performing for the troops to compliment us on our work as well as ask us our future plans and compliment the graphics design for my debut CD.

If anyone may be interested in contacting my graphics designer for future work, he has given me permission for you to contact him at: GRAPHICDESIGN@LASTSTARENTERTAINMENT.COM.

Any opportunity to inspire and perform for someone truly is a gift and I appreciate all of you who were able to watch.

Wow! Where do I begin? Things have been so hectic around here lately I have not had much time. But, I could never forget about writing to my fans :)

Well… performing at the opening ceremony at the Veteran’s Day Parade with Mayor Bloomberg and the media there for the Big Apple was certainly a great experience. We received three applauds before we were done performing “On the Fourth of July”. Rebecca with little girls NYC small.jpg

Afterward my band and I were on the First Lincoln float performing other various songs from my debut album. From what I understand there were around 20,000 participants in this year’s Veteran’s Day Parade. There are no country radio stations in New York City and yet we were well-received, so I am taking this as a great sign.
